Throughout the year, Bilqees Samodien and Florina Hoppie (better known as Auntie Flo) have been collecting bread packets for a competition Bilqees’s son, Shakur Samodien, participated in. Shakur is a pupil at Woodlands Primary in Heideveld. We are overjoyed to share that Shakur has won the competition, securing an incredible prize of R1 000 for his school and a brand new bicycle for himself.

This achievement is truly life-changing for a young boy from Heideveld, where such opportunities are rare. We are beyond grateful to everyone who contributed and supported Shakur on this journey.
