Reflecting on their previous experiences, Bongi admitted to the DFA that their initial foray into the Wildeklawer tournament didn’t yield the desired results. However, with renewed determination and a talented roster this year, the team is poised to make a statement on the soccer field.
Bongi highlights the presence of quality players and the team’s growing confidence and experience as key factors in their preparation.Drawing from lessons learned, particularly regarding the pressure of competing at the Wildeklawer, Bongi emphasised the importance of resilience and unity within the team.
Leveraging the experience of returning players from the previous year, the team is better equipped to navigate the challenges ahead.
As they strive to make their mark in this year’s tournament, and with ambitious goals set for the tournament, including securing two wins and at least one draw, Bongi and Boy’s High School are ready to showcase their talent and determination on the soccer pitch at the 2024 Wildeklawer.
