GAZA United FC produced a commanding second-half performance to secure a 3-0 victory over Saints FC in their ABC Motsepe League Stream B encounter at the Kimberley De Beers Stadium.

The opening half offered little to separate the two sides. Both teams showed attacking intent and moved the ball into dangerous areas, but clear-cut chances were limited, and neither goalkeeper was seriously tested. Despite a few promising buildups, the match went into the break goalless, with the crowd waiting for a spark.

The crowd at the Kimberley De Beers Stadium was quiet during the first half, which was uneventful, but came alive during the second half when Gaza packed in the points.

That spark arrived shortly after the restart. Gaza United came out with renewed purpose and was rewarded with a penalty early in the second half. The spot kick was calmly converted, giving the home side the breakthrough they needed and shifting the momentum firmly in their favour.

From there, Gaza United grew in confidence and control. Their passing became sharper, movement more fluid, and Saints FC struggled to contain the pressure. Two further goals from open play followed, each the result of well-worked team moves that highlighted Gaza United’s attacking quality and unity on the field.
