Lamontville Golden Arrows and Orbit College Nedbank Cup match halted by adverse weather in Durban

Siyanda Ndlovu of Lamontville Golden Arrows challenged Halalisani Vilakazi of Orbit College FC during the 2026 Nedbank Cup match at King Zwelithini Stadium, Durban on a stormy Saturday evening.

ON Saturday Lamontville Golden Arrows hosted Orbit College at King Zwelithini Stadium, Umlazi, South of Durban in the Nedbank Cup round of 32.
In the first half, Lungelo Nguse converted a penalty to put the hosts in front, but the match took a dramatic turn as the weather intervened. After the break, neither team returned to the pitch due to adverse conditions.
The referee decided to suspend the match because of lightning in the vicinity of King Zwelithini Stadium.
