Leandre Beukes shines at SAFA Girls Academy assessments, showcasing Northern Cape talent

WARRENVALE Stars FC, a community-based football club from Warrenton in the Northern Cape, is celebrating a standout showing by one of its young players at a national talent identification event.

The club confirmed that Leandre Beukes delivered an impressive performance at the SAFA Girls Academy assessments held in Pretoria last weekend, an event organised by the South African Football Association to identify emerging talent.

Leandre, who hails from the Warrenton community, took part in the two-day assessment, where she was evaluated alongside other young players by SAFA coaches and scouts. According to the club, her performances drew positive attention for her skill level, commitment and professionalism across the sessions.

Warrenvale Stars FC described Leandre’s showing as a proud moment for both the club and the wider community, saying it reflected the work being done at grassroots level.
