The Proteas Women have to set a score of 299 if they hope to lift the coveted ICC Women's World Cup final at the DY Patil Stadium.

Recent rain in the area led to a 90-minute delay caused by a wet field; however, no overs were lost because of the inclement weather. Captaining her side for this historic culmination, Laura Wolvaardt expressed that the decision was influenced by the weather conditions.
