Betway SA20 season 4 promises a summer of fireworks and fun

Cricket fever is set to ignite this festive season as tickets for Betway SA20 Season 4 officially go on sale today, and fans are already scrambling to secure their seats for what’s shaping up to be the hottest ticket in town.
The fourth edition of South Africa’s premier T20 cricket league will light up stadiums around the country from 26 December 2025 to 25 January 2026, giving fans a summer packed with explosive action, family fun, and unforgettable entertainment.
The curtain-raiser promises fireworks both on and off the field as defending champions MI Cape Town take on Durban’s Super Giants at Newlands on Boxing Day. It’s a match that will not only set Cape Town buzzing but also kick off a thrilling first week of fixtures in Pretoria, Paarl, Durban, Gqeberha, and Johannesburg.
Tickets are available through www.SA20.co.za and at all stadium ticket offices, but fans are urged to move fast. Last season saw record-breaking attendance numbers and sell-out crowds.
“The opening of ticket sales is a true marker that Season 4 is around the corner,” said Graeme Smith, Betway SA20 League Commissioner. “It’s been encouraging to see the demand during the pre-sale window, especially for the opening match and the final at Newlands. We can’t wait to be part of everyone’s festive season plans.”
This season brings more than just top-class cricket. Fans can expect a carnival of entertainment, from “Insta-worthy” fan zones and dance-cam moments to vibrant music, competitions, and celebrity appearances.

The league’s six 19-player squads have already been confirmed after a record-breaking player auction, and the lineup is brimming with both homegrown and international stars. Expect to see fan favourites like Kagiso Rabada, Faf du Plessis, Jos Buttler, Dewald Brevis, Tristan Stubbs, and David Miller light up the tournament with their flair and firepower.
Off the pitch, the “20th Players” are back: six high-energy personalities representing each host city who will connect fans to the action through social media and stadium activations. This season’s squad includes Anele Mdoda (Gqeberha), Leandie du Randt (Pretoria), Moshe Ndiki (Johannesburg), Nadia Jaftha (Cape Town), Schalk Bezuidenhout (Durban), and Vafa Naraghi (Paarl).
From behind-the-scenes glimpses and “matchday fit-checks” to fan challenges and giveaways, these 20th Players will ensure the Betway SA20 experience lives on long after the final ball is bowled.
