The rhythm, energy, and talent of the Noleen Andrews School of Dance were on full display when their Hip Hop crew, Culture, took part in the Global Dance Supreme Competition held in Cape Town from October 10-12.
Competing against some of the top crews in the country, the 12-member team impressed the judges and crowd alike, earning themselves a bronze medal in a fiercely contested division.
The achievement marks another proud moment for coach Noleen Andrews and her dancers, whose creativity and commitment continue to set them apart. Andrews, known for her high standards and passion for developing young talent, praised the crew for their discipline and teamwork throughout the competition.
Their hard work and success have now opened an even bigger stage. Culture will represent South Africa at the Global Dance Supreme World Championships in Dubai in 2026.
For the dancers, this international opportunity is more than just a dream come true; it’s the reward for months of late-night rehearsals, perfecting choreography, and pushing themselves to new limits.
With their sights now set on Dubai, the crew is determined to bring their best moves, and their Mzanzi flair to the world stage.
