THE MUCH-anticipated Kimberley Diamond Cup is in full swing, with the qualifiers under way at the Kimberley Skate Plaza. The event has already brought electrifying skateboarding action to the Northern Cape, featuring an impressive line-up of local and international skaters.
The preliminary rounds kicked off on Friday, giving skaters the opportunity to qualify for Saturday’s main event, where they’ll battle it out under the lights for top honours.

With competitors hailing from South Africa, Russia, Germany, and Dubai, the level of talent on display has been truly world-class.
Young skaters in the Under-16 Boys and Girls categories demonstrated incredible skill, proving that the next generation of South African skateboarding is in good hands. Meanwhile, the Men’s Open and Women’s Open divisions saw some high-level tricks and gravity-defying stunts that thrilled the crowd.
