The Frances Baard Football Association’s (FBFA) Under-15 Girls Inter-LFA Football Festival has reached the semi-final stage.
The competition launched earlier this year by the FBFA, in partnership with SAFA and under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme was aimed at giving young girls from the Frances Baard District the opportunity to participate in competitive football.
Organisers aimed to, through the competition, foster both their skills as well as boosting the development of women’s football in this region.

This weekend, the semi finals will take place in Kimberely at a venue still to be confirmed. However, it has been confirmed that proceedings will kick off at 9am.
