The Kimberley Harriers, a prominent club in the Kimberley running community, recently marked the culmination of their 2023 running season with a vibrant year-end function and awards ceremony.

The event was an evening filled with celebration, camaraderie, and recognition of outstanding achievements within the club.

Members and supporters of the Kimberley Harriers were in high spirits as they gathered to reminisce about the year’s accomplishments and honour the dedication and hard work of their fellow runners. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as accolades were bestowed upon the top achievers who demonstrated commitment throughout the season.

The awards ceremony saw a series of prestigious honours presented to individuals who excelled in various categories, including Best Male and Female Athletes.

Time Trial results for Kimberley Harriers run that took place on Tuesday, December 5 are:

4km: Vince Simons 17:57, Monique Hugo 23:07, David Janse van Vuuren 23:25, Ria Janse Van Vuuren 25:11, Rob van de Nest 25:34, Farieda Abrahams 30:00.

The Club also took the opportunity of reminding runners of the Magersfontein Trail Run taking place on Saturday, December 9 ((((tomorrow)))) at 6am.

Manual entries and race tag collection are taking place at DuToitspan Primary School on Friday ((((today)))), December 8 between 4.30pm and 7pm.
