Gauteng police have announced the arrest of another suspect in connection with the murder of popular media personality Warrick ‘DJ Warras’ Stock.
This arrest follows the earlier detention of Victor Mthethowakhe Majola, who has been charged with premeditated murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Majola was denied bail on January 26, 2026 and is due back in court on February 11, 2026
Stock was gunned down on December 16, 2025, as he exited a building near the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg’s central business district, when he was approached by suspects who opened fire before fleeing the scene.
The second suspect was arrested during a Crime Intelligence-led operation in the Marathon informal settlement in Primrose on Friday night.
