Vusimuzi 'CAT' Matlala.

Cat Matlala’s audio telling a PKTT member that his contract had been cancelled owing to his refusal to fund Senzo Mchunu’s presidential campaign, got X users talking:
@MediaZaban865 Mchunu cancelled my contract because I refused to pursue a fabricated case against Gen Khumalo & Witness C. ~ Audio recording of Matlala telling PKTT members.
@FaredaVandeKaap An ‘honourable thief’? No, just #CatMatlala singing like a canary to save his own skin! He AND #Mchunu need to be prosecuted for the allegations made based on evidence presented at the #MadlangaCommission!
@Galela15505225 We must learn to stop politicising police operations and dismantle things that are working. The impression created that PKTT takes money away from other provinces is false. Operation Lockdown to help with gang violence in the WC is more expensive. Should it be stopped too?
@MvuyeM It’s not about disbanding the PKTT or any other task team, he wants to protect his criminals!
@wanda2_4 This guy has proven himself to be part of a hardcore criminal syndicate with his thinking and statements....he is praised by his gang that he is intelligent but he is not. He’s only intelligent to his party and his gang, not to us.
@MediaZaban865 So what do we make of Cat Matlala’s two versions of reality? Version 1: The affidavit Matlala did for Senzo Mchunu calmly claiming they don’t know each other. Never met. Never spoke. Nothing. Clean as filtered water. Version 2: The PKTT recordings where Matlala speaks of Mchunu as someone he knows well. Not only that, apparently Mchunu was upset when Matlala stopped showing interest in ‘funding the presidential campaign dream,’ and even pushed for Matlala’s SAPS contract to be cancelled🚫 #MadlangaCommission #PKTTFiles
@mouga_l Typical criminals... backhanded stuff and paranoia. Matlala assumed the arrest was orchestrated by the two leeches so he didn’t want to go down alone. Little did he know he was fighting two separate entities – good & bad – however he was in the company of the good.
@against_biased Affidavit was probably written by Sibiya, just like the one on theft allegations against the PKTT and Khumalo.
@Mageba6345 Those officers definitely said to Cat “We will let you go only if you implicate this ‘2’ or he was unlawfully recorded. Another thought is that the recordings are AI since crime intelligence an fabricate WhatsApp chats I wouldn’t put it past them to use AI on Cat’s voice.
@Tshingana904 Witness C testified in the Madlanga Commission that Cat was aware of the recording, ruling out the possibility of AI generation. It’s up to Cat to either confirm or deny this, or claim he was coerced (tortured) – a common defence strategy used by accused individuals in court.
@Bongani_masuku5 When General Sibiya’s house was raided in Centurion & gadgets were taken, he boldly said they would not find anything. Now Matlala said Sibiya will receive R500k in cash ONLY. Connect the dots. #Sibiya #Matlala #Mkhwanazi #sapsKZN #mchunu #PKTT #AdHocCommittee #senzomeyiwatrial
@DrRebrand Two things rule: PKTT exists as an indication of the failure of law enforcement and political interference. PKTT is a short-term solution to the problem, which will take years to solve. I can bet it will outlive your term in Parliament. The depth of the problem is deeper hey.
