Extended Forecast: Tuesday 14 – Wednesday 15 October 2025

Looking ahead, the weather is expected to stabilise over the western interior, where fine conditions are anticipated to prevail through midweek.

However, the eastern parts of the country are expected to experience hot to very hot conditions, with partly cloudy skies and scattered showers developing in the south and east.

Tuesday 14 October:

Mostly fine and warm in the west; hot to very hot in the east. Isolated showers and rain are expected along the southern and eastern coastal regions.

Wednesday 15 October:

Similar conditions persist, with fine weather in the western interior and scattered afternoon thunderstorms possible over parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape interior.

Authorities advise motorists to reduce speed during downpours and maintain safe following distances. Communities in flood-prone areas should remain vigilant for sudden water level rises.
