FS farmer finds body ‘burned beyond recognition’

THE BAINSVLEI police have opened an inquest after burnt human remains were found at Krugersdrift Dam near Dealesville.

Free State police spokesperson Captain Stephen Thakeng said that a farmer alerted the police after a body was found lying face down in the bush on July 11 at around 10am.

“The human body was burnt beyond recognition and burnt tyre wires were found on the head and hands. An Inquest was registered for further investigation,” said Thakeng.
