The Augrabies police have requested the public’s assistance in locating two men who allegedly kidnapped and raped a 17-year-old girl.
THE AUGRABIES police have requested the public’s assistance in solving a kidnapping and rape case.
This after two unknown men allegedly threatened a 17-year-old girl with a knife on Sunday evening and forced her into a white sedan at a compound nearby Augrabies.
Northern Cape police spokesperson Captain Nelis Prins said the men allegedly took the girl to a house near Rooipad in Augrabies, where they took turns raping her.
Prins said the men dropped the girl off along the side of a road near Augrabies the following morning.
The victim walked to family members to get assistance and reported the incident to the SAPS.
“The one suspect is described as being between the ages of 25 to 30, is 1.7 metres tall, of slender build and was dressed in black shorts and a white vest,” said Prins.
“The other suspect is described as being between the ages of 30 to 35, is 1.65 metres tall, of big build and was dressed in long black pants and was bear-chested.”
