A MEMORIAL service will be held for Dr Rian du Plessis at the Bikers Church in Kimberley on Friday, January 27 at 11am.
Du Plessis practised as an emergency room doctor at Mediclinic Gariep Hospital for 12 years.
Mediclinic Gariep spokesperson Denise Coetzee said Du Plessis was a well-respected and well-loved doctor.
“Dr Du Plessis dedicated the past 12 years of his life to serving our patients and community and will be deeply missed by all at the hospital, as well as the broader medical community.
“He will always be remembered as a valued member of the Mediclinic Gariep family. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time,” said Coetzee.
