MEDICLINIC Gariep in Kimberley is holding a special event on October 25 where community members in need can browse and select essential items using vouchers as their method of payment.

The patient experience manager at Mediclinic Kimberley and Gariep, Denise Coetzee, said they would be offering a “cashless shopping” experience from 8am until 12 noon in the hospital parking lot.

“We’re transforming our parking lot into a pop-up store, where community members can browse and select essential items such as shoes, clothing, toiletries, cutlery and crockery, stationery, toys, food items and sanitary pads.”

Coetzee said that the vouchers would be distributed to those in need. “The beneficiaries will be able to shop for the items they require with dignity and choice,” she noted.

“Anyone who will be able to volunteer at the store is requested to contact Namasha, Betsie, or Maryka at 053 8381111,” Coetzee added.
