THE KIMBERLEY police are investigating a case of murder after a man was stabbed in Platfontein.
Kimberley police spokesperson Captain Tessa Jansen said the incident took place on December 6 at about 6.25pm.
Jansen said the police had received a complaint about a fight in Platfontein.
“On arrival in Morosane Street, the police members were directed to a house where a man was found lying on his back with a stab wound to his neck.”
Jansen said the man was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.
“The police are investigating a case of murder. No arrests have been made as yet.”
