THE NORTHERN Cape Department of Health has requested the assistance of the community in locating the family of a patient, Thembinkosi Alfred Nyati, who was admitted to the short-stay ward at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital (RMSH) in Kimberley on September 5.
According to RMSH, the patient was brought to the hospital by the police after he was found on the side of the road. He has a “history of confusion and inappropriate behaviour”.
During the consultation, the patient confirmed his name as Thembinkosi Nyati, with a date of birth of June 14, 1952.
The patient was, however, unable to provide any contact details of his family except that his mother is named Ania Anna Mantansane. He further reported that he resided at SKS Carletonville 5842.
Anyone who can help identify the patient is urged to visit the Social Work unit at RMSH or to contact the Social Work unit on 053 802 2703 as soon as possible.
