THE UPINGTON Community Police Forum, in collaboration with Upington Social Crime, Karos-Hoek Solar Plant, and Upington TVET College, brought festive cheer to the children of Karos during a Kids Christmas Drive.

Northern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Omphile Masegela highlighted that the initiative on December 12 aimed to bring the spirit of Christmas to underprivileged children, offering them joy and a sense of belonging during the holiday season. The children enjoyed a meal, toys, and snacks while engaging in outdoor games and activities.

Safety tips were also shared with the children, focusing on important topics such as child abuse, drowning prevention, and human trafficking awareness

He also expressed gratitude to Karos-Hoek Solar Plant and Upington TVET College for their unwavering support and partnership with the SAPS in giving back to the community.
