Tlotlo Lekgoba, a matriculant from Baitiredi High School, walked away with a R5,000 cash prize from the DFA, plus a medal and a certificate, after she was honoured as the top 2019 Setswana pupil in the Northern Cape.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown, the DFA had struggled to locate Tlotlo.
