THE National Coloured Congress (NCC) previously known as the Cape Coloured Congress has committed to fight for the "voiceless" and eradicate gangsterism.

The political party recently held an event featuring Dantè and Friends from Homevale and local DJ Keyano Kyzer to introduce NCC President Fadiel Adams to the Kimberley community.

NCC provincial chariperson Waaqiah Jaffer highlighted how the NCC strove to address poverty, inequalities and educate people about their rights.

"The NCC constituency office assists with learnership opportunities, compiling CVS, distribution of sanitary towels, nappies and food hampers,” she said.

She also introduced and thanked the NCC ward representatives who conducted door-to-door visits to assist community members with municipal queries and access to basic needs.
