A man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend to appear in court today.

A 29-year-old man accused of murder will appear in the Hennenman Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, following his extradition from Lesotho.
The suspect was arrested in Lesotho on June 27 and handed over to South African authorities by Lesotho officials, Free State police spokesperson, Sergeant Sinah Mpakane, said.
He has since been transferred to Hennenman police custody to face charges stemming from the killing of 31-year-old Selina Agmed in Phomolong last year.
"This arrest relates to an incident on August 17, 2023, at approximately 5.20am, when Hennenman police were alerted to a stabbing at a residence in Phomolong.
"Upon arrival, officers found the victim, 31-year-old Selina Agmed, lying on the kitchen floor in a pool of blood. Despite her critical injuries, she was able to identify her attacker as her ex-boyfriend from Lesotho, who had been residing in Thabong," said Mpakane.
"The victim recounted that the suspect had knocked on her door in the early hours of the morning. A heated altercation ensued, during which she was repeatedly stabbed in the head and body. The suspect fled the scene before authorities arrived."
Agmed was rushed to Bongani Hospital by Emergency Medical Services but died from her injuries on the way.
An intensive investigation led authorities to locate the suspect in Lesotho.
His extradition was facilitated by Major General Apaphia Modise, Deputy provincial commissioner: Crime Detection, with support from the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit, Tactical Response Team, Border Management Authority, and local detectives.
Police have reaffirmed their commitment to securing justice for Agmed and her family.
