A 26-YEAR-old male suspect was apprehended by Kimberley Sector team members on Friday, 20 February, following a swift response to a tip-off.
The suspect, wanted in connection with a theft case, attempted to flee but was pursued and arrested in Colville, Kimberley.
The arrest was made at approximately 11am by team members under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Danie Niemand.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate's Court soon.
Kimberley Station Commander, Brigadier Nicholas Mtongana, praised the team for their prompt action, saying their quick response led to the successful arrest.
