YOUNG David Waterboer, 14, has been missing since February 7 last year, after he was last seen in Nababeep. He was reportedly on his way to a sports event in Concordia when he disappeared.
He was last seen by his mother at approximately 10.50am before she left for work. At the time, David was wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt and navy blue sandals.
Detectives from the Northern Cape Provincial Organised Crime Unit, together with the Springbok Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit and SAPS members from Springbok and Nababeep, are working tirelessly to locate him.
A reward of R75,000 is being offered by SAPS for any information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator or perpetrators and to David’s safe return.
