February Sassa grant payments: Key reminders for beneficiaries

A reminder of the payment dates for Sassa grants for February.

THE SOUTH African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed the grant payment schedule for February 2026.
Payments will be made over three consecutive days:
Older Persons Grant: Tuesday, 3 February 2026
Disability Grant: Wednesday, 4 February 2026
Children’s Grants and all other grants: Thursday, 5 February 2026
Beneficiaries can change their payment method by visiting their nearest Sassa office with a valid South African ID and proof of account or a three-month bank statement.
A consent form must be completed to process the change. Sassa recommends submitting changes before the 19th of each month to avoid delays.
