The suspects, aged 36 and 38, were arrested by the Kimberley SAPS Task Team following a burglary that allegedly took place in the early hours of Monday, January 19, 2026.

According to police, the suspects made off with a large quantity of property, including a blue compressor, two heavy-duty generators, two lever tools, a drill machine, a wheel spanner and a tyre, as reported by the complainant.

Police said the arrests followed a tip-off, which led task team members to track down the suspects. They were arrested on charges of business burglary and possession of suspected stolen property.

“The members from Kimberley SAPS task team followed up and operationalised the information received,” police said in a statement.

The vehicle allegedly used in the commission of the crime was also confiscated during the operation.
