A RECENT business robbery in De Beers led to a swift response from the Kimberley SAPS Task Team, with two suspects, aged 36 and 38, being arrested and charged. The incident, which occurred on January 19, has also prompted SAPS to issue urgent safety tips to business owners and managers to prevent similar incidents.

Stolen goods recovered, suspects to face court

The suspects were apprehended hours after the robbery, and stolen items, including a blue compressor, generators and tools, were recovered. The vehicle allegedly used in the crime was also confiscated, and the suspects will appear in the Kimberley Magistrate's Court soon.

The SAPS in the Northern Cape has also urged all business owners to take proactive measures to protect their premises and assets.
