WHAT began as a modest display of a few strings of lights has blossomed into Kimberley’s most celebrated festive showcase.

Each evening, residents and visitors flock to 7 Bridge Street in Monument Heights to marvel at the dazzling Christmas lights that now cover the entire house and garden.

The tradition traces back to Graham Andrews, who first strung up lights many years ago for his young granddaughter. Although she has since grown up and moved away, Andrews has kept the spirit alive, expanding the display annually.

Featuring thousands of LED bulbs, the lights have become a beloved annual event for the Kimberley community.

Preparing the spectacle is no small feat – it takes roughly a month to install the lights and another month to take them down.

The lights will remain on throughout the festive season, shining nightly until January 12. Visitors are encouraged to stop by after dark for a safe, family-friendly viewing.
