Springbok police hunt for person of interest in fatal truck collision investigation
Springbok police are seeking Talent Gutoona, who disappeared after a head-on collision on December 2, 2025, in which one truck driver died, and is now regarded as a person of interest in the culpable homicide investigation.

THE SOUTH African Police Service in Springbok is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Talent Gutoona, who may be able to help investigators with a culpable homicide case.
Gutoona was driving one of two trucks involved in a fatal head-on collision in Springbok on December 2, 2025, resulting in the death of the other truck driver.
After being taken to the hospital for treatment, Gutoona disappeared before police could interview him. He was last seen wearing a dark blue overall.
Detectives believe Gutoona may have valuable information and are urging him to come forward. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Arno Heyns at 082 495 55279 or SAPS emergency number 08600 10111.
