THE NORTHERN Cape Rental Housing Tribunal has welcomed new members, with Ruwald Wilson taking the helm as Chairperson, following a productive meeting with MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs, Bentley Vass.
The meeting, chaired by MEC Vass, saw the formal introduction of the newly appointed Tribunal members, who are tasked with regulating fair and just relationships between landlords and tenants in the province.
A comprehensive presentation highlighted the Tribunal's legislative mandate, emphasising its commitment to delivering accessible, community-centred services to all Northern Cape residents.
"The Tribunal's mission is to ensure fair and just relationships between landlords and tenants, while serving and protecting the rights of our communities," said MEC Vass.
The seven-member panel, led by Wilson, is poised to strengthen housing governance and deliver on its commitment to serve the people of the Northern Cape.
