THE SOUTH African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed the payment schedule for November 2025, ensuring that millions of South Africans who rely on social grants receive their much-needed financial support on time.
Grant payment schedule:
These grants provide essential support for elderly citizens, people with disabilities, and vulnerable children, helping them meet their basic needs and maintain a minimum standard of living.
Sassa reminded beneficiaries that the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant will be paid separately in batches rather than on a fixed date.
Meanwhile, the Northern Cape MEC for Social Development, Nontobeko Vilakazi, will lead a major Integrated Community Registration Outreach Programme (ICROP) in Breipaal, under the Siyacuma Local Municipality, on Friday, October 24.
Residents are invited to join the MEC for direct engagement with the MEC herself, district and local mayors, government officials, and key stakeholders. The programme will also offer free access to a wide range of government and social services, along with support from private sector partners and non-governmental organisations.
In addition, discussions will be held on community-led initiatives and sustainable solutions aimed at improving service delivery and access to essential support in the area.
The event will take place on Friday at 10am, at the Breipaal Community Hall in Douglas. Attendees are encouraged to bring their ID, birth certificate, and other supporting documents to access government services.
Recently, Sassa in the Northern Cape held a successful ICROP at the Sunrise Civic Hall in De Aar, in the Pixley ka Seme District, where a large number of residents made use of the opportunity to access government and social services closer to home.
