Two arrested for brother's murder in Kathu
Two men, aged 26 and 28, were arrested by Kathu SAPS for murder after allegedly assaulting a 29-year-old man at Ghosis farm, who later succumbed to his injuries at Postmasburg hospital.

The Kathu SAPS has apprehended two men, aged 26 and 28, in connection with a murder case that occurred on July 19 2025, at Ghosis farm outside Kathu.
The suspects allegedly got into an argument with a 29-year-old man, assaulting him, and later, the victim succumbed to his injuries at Postmasburg hospital.
It is believed that one of the suspects is the brother of the deceased, while the other is a friend. The two men are expected to appear in the Kathu Magistrate's court on murder charges.
The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to gather more evidence.
