THE MURDER trial involving Advocate Celeste Nameka and her father, Clive Ferris, was postponed in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court this week, as another accused is set to be added to the docket.
Nameka and Ferris are facing several charges, including attempted murder, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, and the discharge of a firearm, following a shooting incident at a residence in Minerva Gardens on December 21.
During the incident, 56-year-old Charmaine Anthony was killed, while her son, Lucan Anthony, 37, was shot and injured in the leg and buttocks.
The prosecution indicated on July 16 that the indictment still had to be finalised.
Magistrate Kubashni Padayachee postponed the matter to August 20 and indicated that the same bail conditions would continue to apply.
