Three suspects have been arrested in Ventersdorp for unlawful possession of firearms.

THE SAPS Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes unit has confirmed the arrest of three suspects, aged between 26 and 45, by police in Ventersdorp for unlawful possession of firearms.
The arrests were made on July 3, after the suspects were apprehended while driving a vehicle matching the description of one seen fleeing the scene of a business robbery in Kuruman on July 2.
A total of six individuals were initially apprehended, with three of them found to be in possession of firearms.
The police are currently investigating a possible connection between the suspects and the Kuruman robbery.
The arrested individuals will face charges related to unlawful possession of firearms and may face additional charges pending the outcome of the investigation.
The police are still searching for three more suspects believed to be connected to the case.
