A 37-year-old woman was arrested in De Aar on Monday, June 17, after police raided an alleged drug house in the suburb of Sunrise.
The Public Order Policing unit D-Platoon carried out the operation at around 2pm, confiscating dagga and tik with an estimated street value of R11,000. Officers also seized cash believed to be the proceeds of drug sales.
The suspect is facing charges under the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act 140 of 1992 and is expected to appear in court soon.

SAPS said it remains committed to tackling drug offences and other crimes across the Northern Cape.
