UPDATE 2: WATER SUPPLY IS FULLY RESTORED IN HIGH-LYING AREAS

Summary:

The water supply in high-lying areas of Sol Plaatje has been fully restored after repairs to the electrical cable fault at the Riverton Treatment Plant.

Key Points:

• Repairs were completed early Tuesday morning.
• All pumps at Newton Reservoir are operational.
• A planned water supply interruption is scheduled from Thursday, May 29 (18:00) to Tuesday, June 3 (18:00).
• Residents are advised to store water in preparation.
