Nababeep family, police seek answers in disappearance of 25-year-old man

The Nababeep police are seeking the public’s help to find 25-year-old Manrico Strausse, last seen at his Kort Street home on May 9.

CONCERN is mounting in the Namaqualand town of Nababeep after 25-year-old Manrico Strausse mysteriously disappeared from his home in Kort Street on Friday, May 9.

According to Northern Cape police spokesperson Captain Ivan Magerman, a family member reported him missing on Tuesday, May 13. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, and local police are now turning to the public for help.

Manrico was last seen wearing a black Puma T-shirt, grey sweatpants, a blue and red Bat cap, Adidas sneakers, and carrying a black Playboy bag.

The police have launched an investigation and urge anyone with information - no matter how small - to come forward. Detective Sergeant Deory Smith can be contacted directly on 082 416 9808. Tip-offs can also be shared via the SAPS Crime Stop line at 08600 10111 or through the MYSAPS app.

Authorities have assured that all information provided will be handled with strict confidentiality.

Captain Magerman reminded the public that there is no waiting period required to report a missing person.
