Sol to host tender training workshops for small businesses

SOL PLAATJE Municipality will hold a three-day training workshop for micro, small, and medium enterprises from February 18 to 21 on how to successfully submit tenders advertised by the municipality.

Municipal spokesperson Thabo Mothibi said the roadshow would educate business owners on tender compliance requirements, structuring winning responses, marketing, and registering on the central supply database.

“Representatives from the municipality, local economic development and supply chain teams, Provincial Treasury, and the Construction Industry Development Board will form part of the panel to respond to any questions during the roadshow,” said Mothibi.

He invited all interested parties to attend the workshops that will be held at the Recreational Hall in Galeshewe on Tuesday from 9am until noon, the Swedish Hall in Roodepan on Wednesday from 9am until noon, and at Riverton Primary School on Thursday from 5 to 7pm.
