Fish Hoek Valley Museum trustees, Historical Association members, and friends gathered, on Saturday August 24, to bid farewell to Sally Britten, who served as curator of the museum for over a decade. Bev Frieslich, a member of the Museum Trust, said guests commended Ms Britten for her resilience during challenging times, including when vagrants occupied the museum grounds. Ms Britten thanked those who supported her throughout her tenure. She is pictured with Professor Mike Bruton, who presented her with a copy of his latest book, Curator and Crusader: The Life and Work of Marjorie Courtenay-Latimer.
