IN A RECENT ceremony held at St Patrick's CBC in Kimberley, a group of dedicated learners were formally inducted as Rotary Club Interactors.

This event marks a significant milestone in their commitment to various community initiatives, including their ongoing support for the Helen Bishop Home. The learners, who have shown exceptional dedication to both their academic and extracurricular responsibilities, are now poised to make an even greater impact within their school and community.

They are now required to complete a specified number of community service hours, after which they will be formally recognised by the school. Upon achieving this milestone, they will become eligible to receive their prestigious colours blazers.

The newly inducted committee members include Ammaarah Bahm, who will serve as Treasurer; Kiara Manuel, who takes on the role of Secretary; Palesa Tshipo, appointed as Vice President; and Harding Holroyd, who will lead the group as President. These leaders are set to guide their peers in various initiatives aimed at fostering a spirit of service and responsibility.

Alongside the committee members, a group of enthusiastic learners has also been recognised for their active participation in the Rotary Club’s community outreach projects. These members are Atlegang Mekgwe, Christina Tefera, Imanathi Kika, Joelle Anderson, Kamogelo Mocumi, Kamvalethu Mompati, Leruo Balatseng, Lucy de Toit, Realeboga Gaya, Rorisang Lute, Seithati Choeu, Tshepiso Pata, Warona Thetele and Yonela Duze.

Their collective efforts underscore the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically strong but also socially conscious and driven to make a difference.

The ceremony was a celebration of their hard work and a reminder of the responsibilities they carry as representatives of their school and community.
