The suspects, aged 28 and 33, were travelling in a bakkie when they encountered a routine roadblock set up by the police.
According to Sergeant Omphile Masegela, a spokesperson for the Northern Cape police, officers conducted a thorough search of the vehicle and its occupants. During the search, they discovered dagga with an estimated street value of R3,874 concealed in the suspects’ luggage.
