Public encouraged to comment on revision of NC sport authority act

MEMBERS of the public have until Friday to make inputs on the amendment of the Northern Cape Sport and Recreation Authority Act (No 4 of 2015).

The amended act will ensure that the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture is in line with the South African Sport Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc).

Northern Cape Department of Sport, Arts and Culture spokesperson Conrad Fortune said the amended act aims to advance, transform, promote and develop a strategic framework for sport in the Northern Cape.
