THE BARKLY West police are investigating a culpable homicide case following the death of a two-year-old boy at Graveside, Mataleng in Barkly West.
The boy was killed when he was knocked over by a bakkie near a tuck shop on November 2.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Timothy Sam said that according to preliminary investigations, the boy was hit by a bakkie that was leaving the tuck shop after delivering goods.
“Barkly West emergency services declared the boy deceased on the scene. The police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death,” said Sam.
