The 69-year-old momager shocked everyone when she swapped her signature jet-black pixie for a dramatic icy-blonde bob.
Her big hair reveal happened in true Hollywood style at Shark Beauty’s Shark Glam launch event at the CUT Lounge inside the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
On the night, she paired her sleek platinum bob, styled with side-swept bangs and sharp, blunt ends, with a chic black leather blazer.
The transformation came courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, who shared the behind-the-scenes magic on Instagram.
In the playful video set to Sabrina Carpenter’s viral hit “When Did You Get Hot?”, Kris starts off makeup-free before revealing her full, polished look.
She was clearly loving the change, captioning her post, “We had a fun little blonde moment tonight!”
So why the sudden switch after years of sticking to her iconic dark pixie?
Kris laughed while speaking to the crowd at the event, saying, “I wore that black pixie for so long, you know, I couldn’t look at it anymore.”
She even joked that her kids were thrilled to see her try something new.
And speaking of her famous kids, it looks like Kris may have taken a little inspiration from her daughter, Kim Kardashian.
Kim recently turned heads in Paris when she debuted a short, temporary black pixie cut, which she called “Paris Pixi”, that had fans buzzing.
Now it seems Kris decided it was her turn to make a dramatic statement of her own.
This bold new look isn’t just about the hair. Kris has been embracing change lately, inside and out.
The reality star, who turns 70 in November, has been open about wanting to refresh her appearance and feel like the best version of herself.
Speaking to Vogue Arabia, Kris explained her mindset around ageing, saying, “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. For me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version.”
As for her blonde moment, Kris made it clear it might not last forever.
“I mean, you know me, I’ll be back to the black tomorrow,” she said.
