South Africa's cherished Checkers Little Shop retail campaign is back for a fifth exhilarating round, much to the delight of parents and children alike.
This year, the promotion features its most significant collection yet, introducing a delightful ensemble of 46 reimagined miniatures, intricately crafted to inspire screen-free fun for the entire family. Adding to the excitement, each Collector’s Case also comes with a brand-new Little Shop board game.
These soft, rubbery miniatures, which double as fidget toys, are filled with personality, showcasing a variety of beloved brands. Iconic items from the Checkers repertoire include the adorable Sixty60 delivery bike and the refreshing Simple Truth Coconut Water.
South African heritage is well represented too, with popular products like All Gold Tomato Sauce, Ouma Rusks, and Oros characters making an appearance, alongside an array of surprise items sure to bring joy to children and the young at heart.
Described as a 3-in-1 game board, this year's offering offers hours of interactive playtime, encouraging two or more players to combine their mental agility with physical activities such as jumping and running, all in a race to the finish line.
With the Checkers Little Shop campaign not only refreshing collections but also advocating for sustainability, families across the nation can look forward to indulging in hours of entertainment.

The highly anticipated promotion is accessible exclusively to Xtra Savings members, who can obtain a mini with every qualifying purchase of R200 at Checkers, Checkers Hyper, Checkers Foods, and on Checkers Sixty60 from September 22 to November 9. For those keen on collecting, the Collector’s Case, which includes the board game and a die, is available for purchase at R99.99.
In a move aligning with the retailer's commitment to sustainability, each miniature is manufactured from a minimum of 80% post-consumer recycled materials, such as repurposed water bottles, fridge parts, and discarded goggles.
By giving new life to items that would otherwise end up in landfills, Checkers promotes a noble cause of environmental responsibility.
Moreover, customers are encouraged to return unwanted or duplicate minis to in-store Little Shop recycling boxes.
This initiative not only promotes environmental sustainability but also supports a circular economy by recycling or repurposing these items.
Adding an extra level of excitement, shoppers who purchase any three participating products in the Little Shop Competition and swipe their Xtra Savings card could stand a chance to win an unforgettable family getaway, a five-night trip to LEGOLAND Dubai for four, valued at approximately R224,000.
