AMAPIANO artist Duduzile Ngwenya, better known as Lady Du, has officially launched her own record label, marking a major milestone in her career.

The platinum-selling musician, known for hits like “Dakiwe” and “Umsebenzi Wethu,” shared the exciting news with her fans on social media.

Lady Du revealed that her new label has already signed four male artists, and she plans to mentor both boys and girls as part of her efforts to give back to the industry.

“I had a dream and God made it possible! Welcome to our record label! I’ll be mentoring boys and girls! We have signed 4 boys at the moment who I will personally look after!” she said.

Lady Du described this new venture as one that holds deep personal significance.

“With all the businesses I have, this one is very close to my heart. Music has money if you do it the right way,” she added, reflecting on her journey in the industry.

In addition to her latest business move, Lady Du continues to shine in the Amapiano scene.

In June, she was named the top female artist on Spotify’s Amapiano Grooves, solidifying her position as one of the genre’s leading figures.

Despite her success, Lady Du has been open about the challenges she’s faced.

Earlier this year, she courageously spoke out about her struggles with mental health, offering fans a glimpse into the obstacles she’s had to overcome.

Her journey to success also includes collaborating with major South African artists such as DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, and Mr JazziQ. As a five-time award winner, Lady Du has built a career that blends both musical and business achievements.

She is also the author of a book titled “Fame or Business”, which delves into the realities of the entertainment industry.
