After a whirlwind two months in South Africa, Dutch influencer and model Rachel John has officially headed back home to Amsterdam - and she’s feeling the "heartbreak" of the goodbye.

John documented her departure in a recent TikTok vlog, admitting that leaving this time was harder than usual.

"Honestly, I didn't want to go home. After spending almost two months in South Africa, leaving this time felt especially hard, I was heartbroken" she said.

Was that Siya behind the wheel?

The mystery driver is the biggest question on everyone's mind. Fans were quick to notice a man driving her to the airport who looked suspiciously like Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.

While the two haven't openly confirmed their status, the clues have been piling up since late December.

Kolisi was spotted at John’s 25th birthday party in Jeffreys Bay when eagle-eyed fans caught his reflection in a window, and later the pair was caught on film boarding a ferry together at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

A bittersweet goodbye

On the long haul to Amsterdam, John kept busy with a nine-hour sleep, skincare, and journaling. "I always do it after my trips so I don't forget all the beautiful memories," she shared.

Upon landing, it was back to reality with a long shower and a grocery run because her "house is completely empty."

Long-distance woes?

South African fans are already worried about how the couple will handle the distance. When one follower asked, "What about Siya? ☺️," John cheekily replied: "😭😭 good question."

Another fan said: "Siya is gonna be lonely 😭."

While she frequently splits her time between the two countries, she has previously noted that she maintains a residence in Amsterdam and has professional commitments there, including scheduled kickboxing fights.

When will she be back?

Don't cry for them just yet! While John has professional kickboxing commitments in the Netherlands, she won't be gone for long.

She is scheduled to return to South Africa in April to host her RAJOS female-only surf camps in Jeffreys Bay.

Plus, with Kolisi set to rejoin the Stormers in Cape Town this July, we expect to see plenty more of this duo soon.
