According to a report from furniture experts Roomes, British icons are trading the stage and the pitch for the title of "Landlord". 

From the Beckham's R3.2bn global empire to Ed Sheeran’s sprawling 27-property "Sheeran-ville", celebrities are no longer just buying homes; they are building diversified real estate dynasties.

The ultimate status symbol isn't a hit single; it's a massive square footage.

Here is the breakdown of the UK’s most elite celebrity portfolios.

1. David and Victoria Beckham

The Beckhams are synonymous with high-end real estate. While their net worth is enormous, a huge chunk is tied up in global property. The moguls have five properties estimated at R3.2bn, which is 22.7% of their net worth. 

Their crown jewel, a modernist villa in Miami Beach valued at R1.3bn, currently stands as the most expensive single home owned by any celebrity in the ranking. 

They also own a converted barn estate in the Cotswolds worth roughly R260m. Their total portfolio value (including Miami and Dubai) exceeds R3.2bn.

2. Lewis Hamilton

In second place is Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, whose expansive collection of residences serves as a high-octane map of his global racing circuit.

With a portfolio valued at an estimated R2.3bn, Hamilton has strategically tied up roughly 33% of his total net worth in premium bricks and materials.

His real estate empire is international, boasting luxury apartments and estates in elite hubs like Monaco, Milan, Geneva and New York.

The jewel in his crown is a single standout property valued at a staggering R797 million, proving that he dominates the luxury property market with the same precision he brings to the track.

3. Ed Sheeran

While he may not hold the highest total valuation on the list, award-winning musician Ed Sheeran is the undisputed "Quantity King" of the UK celebrity circuit, boasting more individual properties than any other star in the study.

With a staggering 27 properties to his name, Sheeran has funnelled approximately 40% of his R5.6bn net worth into a massive real estate empire that functions as both a private sanctuary and a savvy investment vehicle.

His holdings are heavily concentrated in prime London postcodes, including Notting Hill, Holland Park, and Covent Garden, but his most famous asset is "Sheeran-ville", a sprawling 16-acre estate in Suffolk that essentially serves as a private village.

His most expensive single asset is valued at an impressive R432m, cementing his status as a heavyweight in the property market.

4. Robbie Williams

Claiming fourth place is Robbie Williams, who has shifted his financial strategy over the past year to favour high-end real estate.

Currently, over 41% of his wealth is in property, with a three-home portfolio now valued at a collective R2.1bn.

The crown jewel of his collection is a breathtaking waterfront mansion in Miami, which he acquired in 2025 forR720m (including furnishings), adding to a portfolio that includes major holdings in London.

5. Adele

Rounding out the top five is Adele with a collection of five properties valued at a combined R1.6bn, her real estate holdings now account for nearly half of her total fortune.

Her portfolio is split between high-security compounds in Beverly Hills and prime London residences, offering a blend of Hollywood glamour and British heritage.

While Adele focuses on long-term stability, the report also highlights two extremes of the celebrity market.

Meanwhile, English footballer Jude Bellingham has placed a staggering 74% of his net worth into a focused three-property portfolio.
